Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy
MK Painting LLC
Effective Date: 03/17/2026
This Return, Refund & Cancellation Policy (“Policy”) is incorporated into all estimates, proposals, invoices, and service agreements issued by MK Painting LLC (“Company,” “we,” “our”).
1. Nature of Services (No Returns)
Client acknowledges that painting services are custom, labor-based, and non-returnable. Once work has commenced or been completed, services are not eligible for return.
2. Deposits & Payment Terms

A deposit may be required to secure scheduling and purchase materials.

Deposits are non-refundable once any of the following occur:

Materials have been purchased
-
Project has been scheduled and reserved
-
Work has commenced
-

Progress payments may be required for larger projects.

Final payment is due immediately upon substantial completion unless otherwise stated in writing.

3. Cancellation Policy

Client may cancel prior to project start by providing written notice.

Any deposit may be partially refundable only at the Company’s discretion, less costs incurred (materials, labor allocation, administrative time).

Cancellations after work has begun will result in charges for all work completed, materials used, and scheduled labor time.
4. Change Orders & Scope of Work

Any work requested outside the original scope must be approved via a written change order and may affect pricing and timeline.

Refunds will not be issued for misunderstandings where the work performed matches the agreed scope.
5. Satisfaction & Punch List

Client agrees to conduct a walkthrough upon completion.

Any deficiencies must be submitted in writing within 3 calendar days of completion.

The Company will make reasonable efforts to correct valid workmanship issues at no additional cost.

This clause does not apply to aesthetic preferences outside the agreed scope.

6. Exclusions from Refunds or Corrections
The Company is not responsible for, and no refunds or corrections will be provided for:

Pre-existing surface conditions, including but not limited to cracks, stains, peeling, or structural defects

Improper or failed prior coatings
-
Normal wear and tear
-
Damage caused by others, weather conditions, or building movement

Color dissatisfaction once paint has been applied and approved

Manufacturer defects in paint or materials

7. Material & Color Approval
Client is responsible for approving all colors and finishes prior to application. Once materials are applied, no refunds or rework will be provided due to color selection.
8. Warranties & Limitations
Any workmanship warranty provided by MK Painting LLC is limited to corrections of defective work and does not include monetary refunds unless required by law.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Nevada law, MK Painting LLC’s liability is limited to the total amount paid by the Client for the project. The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
10. Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising under this Policy shall first be attempted to be resolved in good faith. If unresolved, disputes shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and resolved in the appropriate courts within Nevada.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By approving an estimate, signing a contract, or submitting payment, Client acknowledges and agrees to this Policy.
